# Importing after installation

 * I’m running 2.9.2
 * When I try to import my blog from a heartpixel.wordpress.com to my blog at heartpixel.
   net, I get this error:
 * Unable to create directory /f5/heartpixel/public/wp-content/uploads. Is its parent
   directory writable by the server?
 * I have no idea what to do, and see no help regarding this error. I’m hosted by
   nearlyfreespeech.net

 * Assign 766 permissions to wp-content folder. If it doesn’t work assign 777 permissions
   to wp-content and then try to import blog. If everything goes well; revert the
   permissions of the wp-content folder.
