    Hi,

I created a local site in Ampps. But had to reinstall OS. I have a copy of all the files from TimeMachine.

Now I’m trying to import a Table into a new WP install.

Is it possible to create a new install of the plugin, then copy and paste the old files into the new Install? And if so, which files do I need?

Or do I need to install the whole previous site, then use the TablePress Export Table Function?

    Thanks

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, you will need the whole previous site, or at least its mySQL database. Just files are not enough, as all data is stored in the mySQL database.

    Thanks Tobias

I have the all ampps files (including the mysql directory). Would this have the mySQL database inside? And if so, is it possible to reinstall or copy and paste… or something like that?)

    Hi,

I don’t really know how the file structure in this ampps program is set up. I would recommend that you try to get this old site running again. That should be the safest way.

    Regards,
    Tobias
