Support » Plugin: Business Directory Plugin » Import with Expiration

  • Resolved mtporter

I have a online directory that I need to ‘bring over’ to this plugin with WordPress (of course). The existing is SOBI2 with Joomla and there are various expiration dates already.

I’ve noticed that even if you change the date while entering a new entry, it still sets the expiration a year from ‘today’ or the day I add.

Hate to have to go into the phpmyadmin due to some entries having more than 1 category.

Is there a way of determining the expiration date while entering a new entry based upon what that current expiration is?

    Hi mtporter,

I answered your issue about import with expiration dates here:

For the expiration date determination, on import with the current setup, it will depend on the expiration set for free listings, since we have no way to map fee plans from an external source right now. This is something we need to address for a future release, but I think the link above may get you the expiration you need to start with anyhow.

I think I may have found a workaround for entering existing listings with expiration dates already set.

Granted, once I get paid for work already done plus funds to purchase the PayPal plugin, I will get the PayPal addon and I’m sure the workaround would work for the current free listing mode as well as once the addon is applied.

Since the new site isn’t live yet, the fee days can be simply altered for a brief time to match the new listing I’m bringing over.

I’ll use as a easy way to figure the fee days.

Sounds like you have it worked out.
