  • I’m hoping to someday shut down my old DreamWeaver web site and import pages I want to save into WordPress and use a URL redirect to maintain standing links. But I’d like to know before I launch into the research if it is even possible. I have pages such as this:

    sample page

that I would like to import (minus the navigation bar) into a WordPress page (preferably using my existing theme). Is is possible to have the javascript function with a WordPress page?

  • yeah, tonnes of people use javascript, flash, etc

Just gotta code it into the theme properly

Try this, I did and it worked. Maybe set up a dummy WordPress and try to do it now –

    Thanks bustersmamma.

I have tried that app without success.
I don’t seem to have enough information to use it correctly.
I ended up with a bunch of page imports I didn’t want.

And I really don’t want to import the pages with their existing nav setup. So could I potentially make a revised locally hosted copy of the relevant site sections and import from there? (Assuming I could figure out how to use the import plugin!)

I believe so. If you used Dreamweaver did it create the site in Html? Are the pages HTML pages?
