# Import Users’ Data From CSV/Excel Spreadsheet

 * Hi there,
 * Our client would like to import their existing client database (of over 3 000
   members) into WP Members, so that they don’t have to create each client/user 
   separately in WordPress.
 * The CSV/Excel file contains numerous fields/columns, so it’s crucial that they
   import the spreadsheet, rather than attempting to copy and paste all the information.
 * Please let me know how this can be achieved. If we need to purchase the premium
   option/plugin, it’s not an issue.

 * WP-Members stores users and user data using WP’s db schema. So importing users
   is generally no different for WP-Members than it would be for WP.
