Import users but not order information (4 posts)

I believe my question is very similar to jacobtcinfo in this thread:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/importing-users-via-csv

I've imported users from my other database. Everything looked great, until I looked at my reports for the first time this morning and realized there is no order data. I'm hoping I've just missed a field and can import the information again.

I've imported data into the following fields from the Import.csv template:
    user_login
    user_email
    user_pass
    first_name
    last_name
    display_name
    role
    membership_id
    membership_startdate
    membership_gateway
    membership_payment_transaction_id
    membership_affiliate_id

Is there a field that should have been included that would trigger the creation of an order? Or, possibly another simple way to import a few hundred member orders.

Thanks again for the great plugin.

    Hey there,

Yes, it looks like you're missing the membership_subscription_transaction_id field. You can read more about the process of importing and creating members on the PMPro Import Users from CSV addon page.

You can update existing users' information by making sure the "Update existing users" option is checked when you import your CSV.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Jess

    Thanks Jess,
I wonder if it would help others to have the link to the above help file, on this page, where I downloaded the plugin?

Yes, we realize the documentation all over the site (and some addon readmes) are a little bit outdated but that is something we're working on. Thanks for the tip though - where did you download the plugin exactly?
