Support » Plugin: All-in-One WP Migration » Import stuck on “done preparing blogs”

The import is just sitting there, after 30 minutes so far (190MB file). What can I do? Do I close the browser window if it continues to be stuck? I’ve never had it take more than 10 minutes or so even for much larger import files.

    Any advice?

  • Hi. LOVE this plugin. It has saved me hours of work over years. Wondering if you can help me? Having a similar problem to the original poster of this thread. After updating the plugin and adding the new import extension my restorations are getting stuck. It gets to the very last stage and sticks at “91% complete”.

I’ve tried going back to my stage site and re-exporting the transfer file but doesn’t work. Always stuck at 91%.

    Here’s a screenshot of where i’m Stuck.

The theme is Divi (if that helps).

    Thank you.

Could you edit your wp-config.php and change WP_DEBUG to TRUE.
Save the file and refresh the dashboard page. Do you see an error message? What does it say?

Well the website is now wiped out because of the partial restoration: http://www.g7techservices.com

Do you want me to install a clean copy of WordPress and do the debug?

No, it is not wiped out, some plugin or theme is causing this error.
Let’s enable WP_DEBUG to true first and see if you get an error message.

    Ahhh I see.

    Here’s the error message:

Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/g7tech/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ddpro/ddpro.php on line 2315

Can you rename ddpro to ddpro-bak and try to refresh the page?
Some premium plugins do not allow you to reuse them on more than one website. You might need to reactivate the plugin.

So rename the file “ddpro.php” to “ddpro-bak.php” or are you asking me to rename the directory? Just want to make sure I do the right thing.

Rename the directory, not the file.

Worked like a charm. Thank you very much.
