    Hi there!

I am looking to use your plugin mainly for the database snapshotting feature. I see that you can then export those snapshots to a .sql.gz file, but is there a way to import them again to the same site or to another site?

I tried to import that file into the SQL database of another local site using Adminer and the tables were successfully created, but the snapshot still didn’t show up in the WP Reset settings menu. This was probably due to the wp-reset-snapshots option not being updated in the database, but updating it manually whenever you want to import a snapshot feels like a workaround as opposed to a standard way to accomplish this.

Is there a standard way to perform imports or is that something that you are planning on adding?

    Hi David,

Sadly and unfortunately, at this time, there’s no “standard” way of doing it. Nobody requested that feature before you, but now that you described it – it does make sense 🙂

I can’t promise any dates, but we’ll definitely add it in one of the next releases.
