    This plugin used to be great. Not any more. The import process gets stuck every single time. If you Google “All in One Migration import stuck” you can find thousands of people reporting the same issue. However, for some reason, the plugin developers aren’t offering a solution.

    Thank you for your review of All-in-One WP Migration. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the import process getting stuck. We want to assure you that there is a solution to this issue.

    In some cases, when the import process gets stuck, it can be due to your hosting provider not being supported or changes not being applied properly. We recommend following our guide to ensure that your hosting provider is supported and that the necessary changes have been applied correctly.

    How to Increase Maximum Upload File Size in WordPress

    The easiest way to figure out the problem is to request error logs from your hosting provider for your website, then examine them around the time when you tried to upload the file.
    You will see what limit you have encountered and increasing it will solve the issue.

    The settings in PHP that you likely need to adjust are:

    • upload_max_filesize – set this to a value > than your backup
    • post_max_size – set this to a value > than your backup
    • memory_limit – set this to a value > than your backup
    • max_execution_time – set this to 0 (infinite)

    We understand that this issue can be frustrating, but we’re here to help you get past it. Please don’t hesitate to contact our support team if you need further assistance.

    Thank you for using All-in-One WP Migration, and we hope to resolve this issue for you soon.

    I already tried all that. My hosting is offering plenty of resources. The site I am trying to import is only 130M and all the settings in my hosting account are way higher than that. The older version of All In One Migration used to work great! Honestly, I used to love your plugin. But something changed in the past 1 or 2 years. Now, the import process gets stuck every single time (I’ve tried your plugin on many different websites, with different hosting providers, but the story is always the same)

    I wasted about 15 hours trying to make it work. I followed all the tutorials and tried everything. There are many folks out there recommending using the older version of All In One Migration, which didn’t have all the limitations that the current version has. Honestly, I don’t want to do that, and I can’t believe All In One Migration is pushing the paid version to do the BASIC things.

    I gave up. After spending 2 hours this morning trying to import a 130M site without any success, I moved on to a different plugin. With that other plugin, I was able to import the site in less than 2 minutes. Not coming back to All In One Migration…

    @t3kg33k I use Blogvault.

    Import process gets stuck at 0% when import 7Mb file (database only) in free version.

    PHP settings and free disk space are OK:
    upload_max_filesize = 2G
    post_max_size = 2G
    memory_limit = 1024M
    max_execution_time = 36000
    Free space is 20Gb

    Some days ago 120MB was imported nice.

    Error:
