    hi guys

    can any one help!

    I am moving my site to a new server. Have it Word Press installed all ok, SQL database working fine, and the theme installed.

    I have exported the xml file from the old wp-admin, but when I try to import I am getting this error:

    Sorry, there has been an error.

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /u0/webroot/virtual/www.coachfinish.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07.

    both versions are release 3 ok

    Set the permissions of the /wp-content/uploads/2010/07/ directory to 777. If you don’t have a /wp-content/uploads/2010/07/ directory, set the permissions of /wp-content/uploads/2010/ to 777. If you don’t have a /wp-content/uploads/2010/ directory, set the permissions of /wp-content/uploads/ to 777 and so on until you find one that works.

    cool! thanks MacMan 🙂 worked a treat
    just trying to get the perma links working now, arrggh hate changing hosts, the theory of moving your site is so simple, but so tricky in reality
