 * **Recap**:
    Originally I installed WP on [http://www.illusivelife.com/blog](http://www.illusivelife.com/blog)
   and one I finally had WP running like I wanted I changed the config log and actually
   moved the files to the main part of my domain –
 * **Now**:
    I am receiving an error message when I try to import my back up files
   of all my posts which is odd because I was able to import the file before the
   move.
 * I get an error message and I am not sure what it means so I was hoping someone
   here can help me with this.
 * > The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/illusive/public_html/wp-content/
   > uploads/2007/03.
   > Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already
   > sent by (output started at /home/illusive/public_html/wp-admin/admin-header.
   > php:16) in /home/illusive/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1219
 * The new location of the website is [http://www.illusivelife.com](http://www.illusivelife.com)

   Please help! Thanks!

 * Changed the config log? What does that mean?
    And if you imported before the
   move – why do it again? If you want WP in the root all you had to do was this:
   [http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory)
   or this: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site)

 * Because once I moved it and moved all my old MT files, it was like a new install.
 * I tried doing the above but it would not work. I got a 404 error and I assumed
   that this was because of the MT files on my server, so I moved it all.
 * Is there a way to work around all of this?

 * So you are wanting to import MT into WordPress?
    Did you do it from the import
   link inside of WP admin or what?

 * Is it possible to start over?
    Drop the tables in the db or the db itself. Set
   up WP where you want it – then do the import. I believe you’re having ths problem
   because the db was populated before the move and now it’s confused. :>)

 * I actually considered that, but didn’t know if there would be a way to fix it
   without doing that.
 * I’ll give it a try.
 * Thanks!

 * oh, before I do this…the WP files are where I need them, but will I need to delete
   it all, set up the new db and then add the WP files where I want them?

 * Just set up the db then and run the install file.
    I think you should probably
   upgrade to 2.1.2, though, as 2.1.1 has a security flaw. If you do that, just
   overwrite all of the files but what’s in your wp-content folder.

 * ugh. Well, I have now done this both ways and I am still getting an error message:
 * > The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/illusive/public_html/wp-content/
   > uploads/2007/03.
   > Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already
   > sent by (output started at /home/illusive/public_html/wp-admin/admin-header.
   > php:16) in /home/illusive/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1219
 * Any more ideas?

 * **SUCCESS!**
 * I figured it out. I went in and deleted the upload folder, reset the chmod to
   777, and away she went!
