Import posts from a Powerblogs.com site.

  • Hi there.

I am trying to take an SQL dump from a powerblogs.com site and use it to populate a wordpress database with the posts, comments, etc. I have poured over the powerblogs data and though its similar to wordpress’s structure, it does not seem importable with any import option types that exist in the admin panel.

I have tried to hunt down a few people online who mentioned that they have accomplished such a task, but I can’t seem to get a hold of them.

Anyone have any ideas? Powerblogs.com is just about the worst company when it comes to customer support. I’ve heard they can provide a Moveabletype export, but they have not responded to my emails for the last 2 months.

    Any ideas guys?

Im dealing with 1000+ entries plus who knows how many comments…
