• Hoping someone can help. Redoing my personal website as a wordpress theme. Went to import my old posts from Blogger by going to my WordPress dashboard and clicking Tools, then Import.

After clicking on Import, the only thing that shows is this:
“If you have posts or comments in another system, WordPress can import those into this blog. To get started, choose a system to import from below:”

None of the options appear below that – it’s just a blank screen. I’ve tried reloading the import file in the wp-admin area but it hasn’t changed anything. I didn’t have this problem when I moved another website to wordpress with the 2.7 version…

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

-> disable all the plugins and have a check. Also enable plugins one by one to find out the culprit.
-> upgrade wordpress to the latest version.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

I disabled the few plugins I had in there and it totally worked. The list shows up now. After I get my posts imported, I’ll do your second suggestion and enable the plugins one by one to see which one is messing with it. Thank you!
