Actually there is , in the images filters there are two options:
‘images to process’ and ‘Remove unselected images’ .
If you only want two images out of the stream, You enter 1,2 in the first field, and check the second field.
In FAF, hovering over the ? button will give you information about all the settings.

Hi,
Thanks. I just did that and will monitor. I see that there are a few filter processing settings, is there a tutorial to explain them?
Filter processing settings :
Only excute filters for all feeds (ignore per feed settings)
Only execute filters per feed (ignore filters for all feeds)
Execute filters for all feeds first
Execute per feed filters first
Another problem I realized is that the plugin fetches images from blogs that have not been updated for a long time. FeedWordPress will still run to check but it does not publish any of those articles.

Just to add, I deleted the images in the Media Library, but the images are re-imported again. Weird.
If the plugin reimports stuff that means that FeedWordpress as well thinks that the posts in question were not just added, probably you deleted them as well.
