• I used WordPress to build an internal employee news site. I would like employees to be able to login so they can vote on things and comment on stories. To avoid forcing people to register for the site and remember yet another password, is there a way to use our network username and password in WordPress?

  • Can they register using their same username and password? You have the option to choose your own username and password, so you could just tell them to use the same credentials when registering.

That’s what I proposed, but the Ops team prefers to minimize the number of usernames and stuff. Of course, they leave it to me to figure out if it can be done. 😐 I’m not a back-end kind of web guy, so I have very little idea how all that stuff works.

Anyone else know if this is possible?

You can create accounts yourself and email people their credentials, would that work?
