Import Locations from Google Business Account

    Hi, great plugin!
    My client has several hundred stores throughout the country – is there a way to import them directly from the Google Business account (where they are all already listed), instead of setting them all up manually?

    Unfortunately not, and from what I understand from the API documentation your also not allowed to grab the data through the API and move it to your own website.

    Does your client have the locations in a CSV file? If so, then you could look for an import plugin that supports importing data to custom post types.

    Thank you so much for the tip, that worked like a charm!

    One more thing, however – if I search for stores via zip code or city, it doesn’t show any results. Any idea why? (Or should I open a seperate thread for this?)

    The locations in the store locator do have the lat / lng fields set in the admin area?

    What’s the URL, and what exactly did you search for?

    Hi again, it was indeed due to missing lat / lng attributes. Everything works as it should now.
