# Import local attribute CSV

 * Hi there,
 * I’m trying to import a variable product with the default CSV importer but I can’t
   get the local attribute to work. It says “6 products imported” and everything
   looks fine in the database except the attribute is not imported at all (I guess)
   and nothing I can’t see the attribute or the variations on the product page
 * Do you have any idea what is wrong? (CSV that I use: [here](https://hastebin.com/iliwoqixac.bash)).

 * I used the sample CSV columns: [https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/sample-data/sample_products.csv](https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/sample-data/sample_products.csv).
 * My guess is if some columns are missing then the import don’t really work?
 * Also for the variations:
 * 1) Always feel attribute name/value
    2) leave “attribute visible” empty (fill
   just on the variable product). 3) fill attribute global on variable product and
   variations

    Thanks for 
   the information, with your .csv file I did my own that works perfectly.
 * However, its interesting that it doesnt work by default, becasue I have made 
   a previous export, and I tried to do the thing with that.
 * I am tested the necessary columns based on your csv, and this is the important
   fields for the perfect workin:
