Import fatal error from wp.com to wp.org

    I’m following the directions, I promise. However, the file I exported from my wordpress.com blog (1.2 MB)is not being correctly imported into my wordpress.org blog. All I get is a screen that says “Are you sure you want to do this?” with a link to Please try again … which takes me back to the import page.

    I’ve cleared my cache, deleted and re-exported the file, rebooted, and still the same.

    I haven’t seen this particular error here. Can anyone help?

    Could you point me to the directions you are following? I can’t help you, but I’ve tried everything, too, and maybe I’m reading the wrong directions. I can’t seem to get a response on this and have found similar questions on the forum without anyone answering…

    where are those directions you mentioned?
