The theme customizer settings can only work with the associated theme.
The plugin should only let you start an import that is specifically for your current active theme, so I am not sure how you managed to start the import process for a different theme.
Can you please let me know what version of the Starter Sites plugin you are using? Do you have the latest version installed?
Also what is your current active theme when you got the error message?
And also please let me know which starter site demo you imported?

Hello, thanks for your answer.
I started with brandnew installed wordpress, latest version – I guess, it came with the theme 2020 activated. Then I downloaded your plugin “Starter Site” and did the first steps to install Theme Lorina and WooCommerce. Then I wanted to import the content and there I got the failure-message.
Maybe I should install Lorina before I use the Plugin. I will try.

Also when I install Lorina and activate Lorina as first step. And install Starter Site as second step, install WooCommerce with Starter Site as third step and try to Import Demo as fourth step I will get the same failure-message.

You can install and activate the Lorina theme separately first, but it’s not necessary. Doing it through the Starter Sites button installs and activates the theme just the same.
The current available demos for Lorina theme are;
- Wedding Planner
- Furniture Store
- Lorina Demo
Can you please let me know which demo you are importing when you get the error message?

Please update to the latest version (1.3.1) of the plugin, and it should work correctly.
