# Import / export options missing

 * Hi,
 * I’m in the proess of moving servers, and want to export my blog, but for some
   reason under the Manage option there is no option for import / export. But in
   my newly uploaded version on the new server there is.
 * How an I get back the import / export buttons, or alternatively is there another
   way of transferring between the two?

 * For the old one, download and install this plugin: [http://technosailor.com/wordpress-to-wordpress-import-v20-released/](http://technosailor.com/wordpress-to-wordpress-import-v20-released/)
 * It’ll generate an export in the “WXR” format that your 2.1x blog can understand
   and use (via Import).
