 * I’m having a problem importing my blog post from blogger I get this error message:
 * Could not connect to [https://www.google.com](https://www.google.com)
    There
   was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:
 * Success (0)
 * Do I have something setup wrong?

 * Should wordpress be setup in my root directory?
 * I set it up in: public-html – blog

 * it should be in public_html, whether you have it in a sub-directory like “blog”
   is up to you. WordPress can work either way.
 * Personally, if it’s the only thing (or the main thing) on the domain then I’d
   have it in the root directory.
 * That’s weird! I have just gone to your domain and clicked through to “blog” and
   the blog has appeared straight away.
 * As far as the import itself, I can’t help. Never tried to do it.

 * A change at Google caused a new bug in the Blogger importer. The solution is
