Import Dummy(Demo) data to child theme or to parent theme?

    Hi,

    I am new to WP. Is it recommended to import the demo (dummy data) in the parent theme or in the child theme?
    OR
    Should one start building the site without demo data to avoid junk?

    I am using the Enfold theme from themeforest and it has the option to import dummy data.

    [ Are these the steps?
    1. Activate Theme
    2. Import Demo
    3. Activate Child Theme and edit it ]

    You should ask the developer of the theme, as these forums have no way to support commercial themes.
