    ​Hi,

    not possible to import demo examples from Sportspress. every time i get : A timeout occurred Error code 524

    Hi there @loranriga ,

    It seems like an issue from your hosting or/and your cloudflare settings? Maybe your server resources are limited? Or you are having some strict security firewall settings?

    With a short google search I found the following article:

    Hi,

    i disbaled Cloudflare and was ok

    but one question: when i download demo content, what is add? i mean, i created and selected one sport (football soccer), one league (Ligue 1) and one nationality (France). but i was thinking it will import the calendar of next matches, the teams of the Ligue 1, etc…. but i see nothing. i need to add all this manualy? or the plugin have to import all this? normally, it will import all this or maybe i don’t understand what is the meaning of this plugin

    Hi @loranriga ,

    SportsPress demo content contains:

    1. Three Teams (Kangaroos, Eagles and Bluebirds)
    2. Some events (published and scheduled)
    3. A Calendar
    4. A League Table
    5. Some Player Lists

    If you want to import “genuine” content to your site, then you need to use the import tools of SportsPress from WordPress->Tools->Imports

    ok, but where i can find the CSV files for import them so from WordPress->Tools->Imports ?

    You can find some “dummy” csv as an example of how your data need to be formatted so as to be imported correctly at wp-content/plugins/sportspress/dummy-data or https://github.com/ThemeBoy/SportsPress/tree/master/dummy-data

    I think that you cannot find easily any “free” source to get sports data…

    Some sources I found with a simple search are:

    https://www.thesports.com/
    https://www.goalserve.com/
    https://rapidapi.com/api-sports
    https://www.api-football.com/

    Unfortunately yes. SportsPress is the tool to present your sports data in any way you want. But currently doesnot provide any sports data. You will need to manually add or import them to your site.
