# Import data to simplepresss

 * We want to migrate our website from Joomla to WordPress.
    On Joomla we use Easy
   Discuss for the forum which does not have export options. So we will need to 
   get the forum data manually from the database.
 * I wonder to know if you have any import options or solutions for migrating form
   another forum.

 * If it’s a large forum it might be worth it to write a custom importer. Check

 * While it is targeted to developers, it makes it a lot easier to get a custom 
   importer up and running because you’re not starting from scratch.
