About importing from posts, I would expect that if people use WP comments for a guestbook, that they used a page for that, because that page would be part of the website structure, like a page is meant to be.
A post is part of your blogroll, you don’t put a guestbook there. It drop down slowly and fades away.
Now, if there’s a user that really has a guestbook on a post, I would be willing to look into it :). But untill then I don’t see that need.
Well, maybe I badly explained… I wanted that the comments on the articles can be repatriated as well as those from pages. It would be useful for some on my website.
But this is not very important. The best thing is to keep messages from the old DMSGuestbook.

As I was using previously DMSGuestbook, I really appreciate the ability to import comments from my old guestbook. 🙂
I found that your plugin also allows to import comments from pages of the site … but why only those of pages, and why not the comments of the posts?
