• Please excuse me if this has been answered already, I’m having a hard time finding any info on. I just want to know if it’s possible.

    First a little background…

I’ve been running a blog on WordPress for over 2 years. I loved it! Then my hosting company lost my entire DB and (yes I know I’m an idiot) I didn’t have a back up. So I lost ALL my content. I salvaged a good majority from google cache and rebuilt my site using blogger because it was quick and I wanted to get up and running as soon as possible as to not lose readers.

I figured I’d host my own blogger files and at least I would have raw HTML of my posts that I could back up and possible import into something in the future.

    So on to the questions…

1.) is there any way to import blogger files into wordpress? And I mean ones you host yourself not from the blogger DB.

2.) If that is possible, and at this point my hopes are not high, is there away to mimic the blogger URL for page addresses?

I hope this makes sense, I just want to get back to wordpress, I miss it, and honestly, BLOGGER SUCKS! I’ve hacked it to get what I want but I miss the flexibility of wordpress. Just in case you are curious…
