    Hi,
I’m a big fan of your plugin and would like to use it for a project that I’m taking over. The site has an existing custom taxonomy for their posts. Would it be possible to associate this existing custom taxonomy (it is called ‘authors’) with your plugin? I don’t want to affect the existing associations between the posts and this taxonomy. Any help on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you so much.

Changing where the taxonomy is registered, whether it be from a functions.php file or from our plugin, should have zero effect on the already existing terms/term associations. You will want to make sure to match up the registration parameters as best you can though. For example missing setting it to be hierarchical in our settings, would change how the post editor screen behaves for it. We don’t have any sort of import mechanism so it would have to be manually done. However, that should be pretty straightforward enough. Hopefully there’s no parts that are missing from our UI. If there is, let me know and I can help get around that detail.

Thank you. This worked great. I had to reload the page several times until the registered taxonomy showed up properly under the Posts admin menu. It’s working great. Thanks!

Not sure about why it took multiple refreshes, but good to know it’s working otherwise. Thanks.
