# Implementing HTTPS for WordPress

 * I have followed the steps provided in the article “Implementing HTTPS for WordPress”(
   [https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/web-publishing/https-for-wordpress/#introduction-to%c2%a0https-for-wordpress](https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/web-publishing/https-for-wordpress/#introduction-to%c2%a0https-for-wordpress))
   before installing SSL as required. Sadly, I am unable to access my site and I
   can’t install SSL either. How can I revert my wrong action to the original setting
   in the WordPress dashboard? (I mean back to [http://mywebsite](http://mywebsite)
   in my WordPress dashboard >>Settings>>General>>WordPress Address (URL) and >>
   Settings>>General>>Site Address (URL)?

 * You’ll find phpMyAdmin in your hosting account’s control panel.
 * Don’t switch the site to HTTPS until you have a valid SSL certificate installed.
