    I installed WP User Frontend Pro – Personal (licensed version). I then saw a message in the admin dashboard that I needed to install the core plugin. After clicking that link, my site broke, and now I see the message “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” If I didn’t have backups I would have been entirely hosed! When they respond to my support ticket, I will update this review with their response time.

    @shomee

    This is not a review, it’s a support ticket placed in reviews to “extort” a faster response from the developers. That’s not acceptable. You’ve been placed on “modwatch” until we’re convinced such postings have stopped. Your account has *not* been banned, we just want to check things for a while before they’re public. If you wish to take issue with this, contact moderators via the #forums channel on slack (https://make.wordpress.org/slack)

    Meantime, I’m moving this from reviews to the plugin’s support area.

    Yes Response times are really important. But go ahead… remove that last sentence. I have uninstalled the product and requested a refund. It’s still a review and people should know.

    PS: do I get my decoder ring now that I have achieved modwatch status?

    Hello Shomee,

    → Several reasons to happen Critical error, one of them is having any existing theme/plugin conflict. So before proceeding with the production site. You can testify to the scenario on your staging site using the “Heath and Troubleshoot” plugin. If WPUF is responsible for the issue, we are here to help you out. You can contact our support anytime.

    I have uninstalled the product and requested a refund. It’s still a review, and people should know.

    → I can see our team has already refunded you, and you have acknowledged that on our support channel.

    I solely believe that WPUF standalone is not responsible for the critical error without any external theme/plugins interference. This is working like a champ on my site, along with our other users. So without any proper diagnosis, it’s unfair to claim this is only our plugin’s fault.

    I hope you will agree with me.

    Hi, @sterndata
    May I have your kind feedback on the scenario? Does it still eligible to stay on the ‘Review’ instead of ‘Support topic.’ I can see it’s showing on the ‘Review.’

    Thanks.

    @aurangajeb The OP now has both a review and this support topic. Both have been reviewed by the moderation team and are within the forum guidelines.

    I’m ok with you removing my review since it is possible there were issues specific to my site, and the developer was good enough to refund me without hassle.
