Hi there,
This is not available for now in this plugin. But thank you very much for the idea, We’ll definitely seek ways to achieve this. If we have success of doing so, we would be able to cover any hosting site.
@2020media,
We looked at 2 support plugins that used email-piping by checking the inbox via POP3 and IMAP. They were problematic, and didn’t work well at all.
We found Pradeep’s piping to program to be a much better and I must say reliable and efficient way to handle email support. In terms of complexity, both methods use ONE support email address. In our experience Pradeep’s solution works much better.
Cheers
Avrom
Hi 2020media,
We had to cancel this as we found it is not working most of the cases like Avrom said. Our developers worked hard to get it working but in testing we found many problems that could increase number of support tickets for us.
We want this to be as simple as any non-technical person can use this plugin easily.
It’s true, you do not always find the PHP-IMAP extensions enabled on servers.
I must say the limitation of Piping is quite high too – and complex for non-technical users, but wish you all the best anyway.
