• I am testing WP-stateless on a staging site that is using Imagify. On the compatibility tab I have enabled “Imagify Image Optimizer”. I am using WP-stateless in Stateless mode.

When I upload a file to the Media Library Imagify states that it “Could not find…” and the path to the file on the WordPress server (not to the Google cloud bucket”. The image is also not optimised.

    Am I doing something wrong?

I posted the same question to Imagify support. Their answer was that Imagify is not compatible with WP-stateless.

It is strange though that there is an option in WP-stateless to turn on compatibility with Imagify.

I am confused. Can anyone shed light on this?

It will always say that “Could not find…”. The real way to see if the images are minifying is running an image compression test on imagify itself. I will say tho the image minification was working for a short time but in a recent test it appears to be broken!

    Thank you, Sam Smith.

I uploaded an image, and it was indeed not reduced in size by Imagify. The image served from Google cloud was exactly the same as the original image. When manually uploading the image to imagify.io the size was reduced 31 percent.

So Imagify seems to broken with WP-stateless 2.1.9
