Images won't align center if a caption is specified

  • I figured out why some of my images won’t align center when I specifically state align center.

If I insert an image (via url) into the post with a caption and tell it to align center, the image will align left.

If I insert in image into the post without a caption and tell it to align center, the image will align center.

It this a known ‘glitch’ or is this simply inherent in the default CSS.

it is very likely a missing/wrong style in style.css (or any other style sheet) of your theme.

a link to the site with the problem might get you more help.
