Images upload to gallery but do not show in post form

    I am able to upload pictures to my Media Gallery but when I click “insert in to post” they are not being inserted. It does not show up on the post form and, if published, there is no image on the blog post.

    I can upload it to the gallery, copy the url and insert it into my post with html and then even modify the height, alignment, etc. but it won’t insert into post by clicking that button.

    I’ve not ever had this problem before so I am thinking I might have done something to cause it although I have not a clue what. I would appreciate any insight available.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
