# images " thumbnails" problem

 * currently actualize my thema to version 2.3.6 all took a full-size images I mean
   the poster of movies and anime. new publications take another size ” cut ” q 
   do not like or is not very good seen for my site . my website is yonkoo.club 
   in the publication of the July 13 will reveal this problem or image slice . that
   possibility exists to correct the problem or cut image

 * thanks for using MH Magazine _lite_.
 * The size for the thumbnails on archives is **235 x 176px**. That means when you
   upload a new image, then WordPress will try to generate thumbnails for the particular
   posts and also crop the images if necessary. You can learn more about the image
   requirements in the [theme documentation](http://www.mhthemes.com/support/documentation-mh-magazine/#image-dimensions).
 * After you’ve changed your WordPress theme, your website will still use the old
   thumbnails and the new thumbnail dimensions will only be used for newly uploaded
   images or if you [regenerate your thumbnails](http://www.mhthemes.com/support/regenerate-thumbnails-after-theme-change/).
 * If you want to modify the image dimensions for the thumbnails, you could create
   a [child theme](http://www.mhthemes.com/support/creating-and-using-child-themes-wordpress/)
   and then change the image dimensions based on your personal requirements. Here

 * Hi. thanks for answering. eh sought ways to all new and old images are the same
   size but not achievement. functions.php change as: add_image_size ( ‘ mh -magazine-
   lite – medium’ , 220, 180 , true); but new images q continue cutting public .

 * After you’ve modified the image dimensions correctly, it will work for new uploaded
   images accordingly and for previously uploaded images you need to [regenerate your thumbnails](http://www.mhthemes.com/support/regenerate-thumbnails-after-theme-change/).
