Ok, so I tried the plugin for almost 2 weeks now, and didn’t had any issues, or so I thought. Since I am using a cache plugin, the site looks ok when you see the site as a visitor, but when I log in(since logged in users does not cache), I see tons of images missing. This started happening since I used the plugin. I press to restore all images and the fixed it, but what is the problem? Does the plugin removes images? It is happening, for the most part, to featured images and slider images. I have the settings set to aggressive, could that be it? LEt me know please as I liked what the plugin did to help performance, but dont like the fact that it adds problems.

    Hi,
Can you tell me which caching plugin you are using?
I don’t think this is related to Imagify, more than 100K websites are using it and that never happened

Hello, thanks for the reply! I am using WP Rocket. Could it be a setting I enabled from there maybe? I did find it weird, and as mentioned, I have not seen anyone else having this issue, which is why I find it odd. The weird part is, it shows well after optimizing it for a few hours, and then it just shows a broken image. When I check the uploads folder, the full size(original image) is gone, but the other sizes that WordPress created(like the thumbnail size for example) are there. This is critical as this can happen to any future uploaded images.

Thank you once again for your reply.

    Hi,
If the images have physically disappeared it can’t be WP Rocket.
Would you remind if the backup images from Imagify were still there?

Same thing happened to me and I lost tons of customer. The easy fix is restore original.

I also just experienced this issue after the first installation and optimization. Can’t use plugin and retain the ability to serve images at this time

This happened to me this week. Been using the plugin for 2-3 months. All images have disappeared from the site. When I restore the image to original it comes back up on the site. I have WP Super Cache and Autoptimize which might affect?

Same here. I just had to uninstall Imagify because it made images disappear. I’m currently not using any caching plugins.

Switching to another one for the time being.
