[Resolved] Images show up twice

  • HI there,

    It seems your posts have the images set in the body, as well as the featured image set? That would result in double images, if your theme does not display featured images and so you include them in the body.

    The resolution is to either use a theme that uses and displays the featured image, or add the featured image to your existing theme, which should be a few lines of code:

    In the functions.php file, add:

    add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );
    set_post_thumbnail_size( 80, 55, true ); // W x H, hard crop

    Then in the single post page, these lines would be added in the right spot:

    <?php
    if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) {
    // the current post has a thumbnail
    the_post_thumbnail();
    } else {
    // the current post lacks a thumbnail
    }
    ?>

    Hi Rob,
    I am having the same problem and tried the codes provided above. No matter what I do, I still keep getting double image on Feedburner RSS. Right now I try to disable the plugin to avoid problem, but that put into old problem of not able to adjust image position in RSS. Here is the web:

    Your assistance will be appreciated.
