Images show up incorrectly in blockquote

    What I want to do is put a quote between blockquote tags and make it shareable through Twitter and Facebook by clicking on the small images of that social media platforms.

    I just created this blog from scratch with the Sinatra theme and have imported some old blogs from another blog where I’ve created the post with old classic WordPress editor. On those post the quotes looks and work correctly. Example is old working post

    Now I’ve created a test POST using the actual WordPress editor and inserting the code into an HTML block. The result is that the 2 social media images introduce line breaks and the Twitter one is not clickable on my Samsung smartphone. Not working POST

    Out of curiosity I created also a test PAGE, again using the actual WordPress editor and inserting the code into an HTML block and both on desktop and on my smartphone the result is CORRECT. Test PAGE

    What am I doing wrong ?

    There was an error in the HTML that I used to create the shareable links: somehow in my previous blog (where I used to use the classic editor) this led to no error, but now I use the standard block editor it didn’t accept the code.
