# Images problem

 * Just upgraded to 2.8.2 and am trying to change some images on a page. I click
   the image I want to change and the screen dims as if there will be a pop up showing
   me the gallery box to find the picture path, etc., but nothing happens. I can’t
   change it… help?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.
 * – reading [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279132](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279132)
 * – disabling Google Gears if you have that running/installed within Firefox.
