    I know I’m probably missing something quite obvious since I see other photoblogs pull it off almost effortlessly – how do I keep my images from loading on top of each other/overlapping when the post loads? (My images are correctly sized to fit the columns btw)

    If you are attributing the images in your posts to a float (in your css), then you want to make sure to ‘clear’ these:

    Simply taking all of the images out of the parapgraph tags seems to solve the issue in both FF and IE, although I’m not sure if that’s good markup…

    I fixed it…well to the point where my images don’t overlap. Separating the images with a horizontal line break ensures that the next image loads after the line break and not directly on the next line. Yes the markup is horrible, yet it works and looks nice in FF and IE. I’ll edit the css when I know more about editing the css!
