Great Plugin. Just the right thing i was looking for!!

But unfortunately it can’t handle the images served by aws through SSL.

As my site is being setup with SSL it brings up mixed content issue.
I tried the following solution from another thread:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/image-over-ssl

but as it was posted more than two years ago and the plugin has been updated since with different code it doesn’t work anymore.

I tried it by myself with changing the §base_url from http://images.amazon.com/images/P/ to https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/ just like it is shown in documentation from https everywhere here as well: https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere/atlas/domains/ssl-images-amazon.com.html
but unfortunately it serves the images again from the same adress http://ecx.images-amazon.com/. Which is weird because when replacing the direct link to the image from ecx.images.. to images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com it brings the right image from https source.

I’ve seen the function / button with SSL images in your options and in the functions.php of the plugin you’re writing that in the future the ssl address for the images will replace this ecx.amazon url.
Can you advise when this feature will be available or how to fix this for the moment?

    Thanks and regards!

Yes, this is crucial! Need SSL next update 🙂

I too would like to have this enabled. I see the check box but it says “coming soon”. Most of my mixed HTTP/S content is from this plugin (a great plugin, BTW).
