So I’ve exported an ePub, but having some issues with images. They are only shown in some readers, and some not. For instance, they are not displayed in Okular nor on my Kobo Libra H2O. They are however displayed on both Calibre’s e-book reader and e-book editor.

Any idea about why this might be?

Never mind, I figured it out. It’s because they are linked to the URL of the image and not bundled with the e-book itself.

There is no way to have images bundled with the e-book?

Hi @maetthew Correct, images are linked directly to the original URL. Bundling images increases complexity by far so I wanted to keep it simple.

I do have an experimental branch to embed your images into the book, so maybe this can be added as an optional configuration. Will see.

    Hi @maetthew

I’ve uploaded a new release to https://we.tl/t-8edap5wP7H before publishing it publicly.

Can you take a look if the images are embeded as expected? You can enable this feature from the “Appearance” tab in the plugin (not enabled by default).

Let me know how it looks. Thanks!

@ferranfg Thanks I will have a look, a bit busy this weekend but probably able to squeeze it in.

@ferranfg Seems to work fine with the images 🙂

One thing I noticed on the new book I exported is that the page count seems to be weird, like the page count is waaaay higher than what’s actually true on pages that have images. I’m wondering if it has to do with the long base64 string in the img-tag?

Also maybe add an option to center images would be nice?
