Images on slider dont display at same box size

I was trying to use the slider from the theme and made all my images the same size / dimension before uploading to wordpress. They display at different sizes though (if using a static page) making the box below them jump and look really choppy,
I ended up having to scrap this due to the jumpiness as each new slider is displayed,

As a workaround i was able to make new blog posts and put another plugins slider there ..although my page is suffering due to having to have my slider “collapsed” and visitors need to click on the post to open it..

Its not as clean looking as it could be.

It sort of is almost a deal breaker but this themes background slider has me here for now until i can find a resolution to this issue.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround?
