    Hi everyone!

Im developing a wordpress site, and i have a problem with my blog of news. When i publish a post (entry), this entry appears in my site without image. When i whatch the chrome console, i can watch that the server didn’t find the image.

It’s very strange, because if i click the link and i go to the post, the image appears correctly.

I’m a bit desesperate, because i dont know what is the problema.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards!

The problem is that my site is looking for the image of this place:

    /var/www/vhosts/palmadelrio.salesianos.edu/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/libros-texto-60884_400x250.jpg

    instead this place:

    https://palmadelrio.salesianos.edu/colegio/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/libros-texto-60884_400x250.jpg

Why is looking for in the first place?

    Thanks

Is that supposed to be a featured image? There’s apparently an error in the function that gets the featured image where it gets the file’s server path instead of URL. Paths do no good for browsers, paths are only used for internal file references. Files a browser requests must be URLs. The function is typically the_post_thumbnail(), but varies by theme. Has this part of the template being used been modified in any way? Is it coming from your child theme or the parent?

If your theme is using the_post_thumbnail() or one of its relatives, then the problem is likely introduced by a hooked filter, either from your child theme or a plugin. Try deactivating all plugins. If a path is still used on reload, there’s likely some filter hook in your child theme somewhere. If you revert to the parent theme, it ought to work correctly. If the parent theme displays this behavior and you have all plugins deactivated, take up the issue with the theme’s developers. We do not support commercial themes like Divi in these forums.
