    Dear,

I have been working on a new website but just experienced an issue. We noticed that on safari browsers, not all of the images are shown. As I understand, safari doesn’t support webp and just shows the regular image. On different browsers such as chrome, there is no issue and the images are shown as expected.

This makes it even weirder that when I disable the plugin (and delete the cache), the images are now shown in safari (and chrome).

Do you have any suggestions what might be the cause of this?

Thank you very much in advance for your time and support.

Have a nice day & kind regards

    Hello @itsadesignthing,

    Thanks for your message.

Do you have any error messages on the plugin settings page?

    Best,
    Mateusz

Oh, that’s somewhat awkward, it seems I missed the big red box somehow stating “Server configuration error” :):):)
I switched to Pass Thru instead of .htaccess which makes the red box disappear. I’ll now rerun the image optimizer again.

Thank you for the quick feedback and my apologies for the mistake on my end.

    Have a nice evening.
