Support » Fixing WordPress » Images not showing up? (Freshly built site)

  • The site is still under maintenance and I am encountering a proble with the images showing up, any one have ideas or solutions to this?

    Website: http://www.soothecustoms.com (built with wordpress)
    Theme: Mio by splashingpixels
    Plugins installed:

    -All in one SEO
    -Google XML sitemaps
    -GTranslate
    -gtw
    -Woocommerce
    -WPtouch mobile plug in

Iv tried disabling plugins and seeing if maybe a plug in was creating this error.

Please help with what ever info you have. Thanks.

  • Your images are being wrapped in Timthumb, like this:
    mio/sp-framework/timthumb/timthumb.php?src=http://soothecustoms.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/1870931.jpg

When accessing the timthumb.php, the site throws a 500 Internal Server Error. Short of ditching the timthumb functionality, you need to contact your web host.

What would you recommend asking them once I get in contact? The hosting is through 1&1. I am currently on there basic plan.

Tell them timthumb.php is causing an error 500. Maybe point them to this thread.

Alrighty thanks for your help. One day the favor will be returned. 🙂
