Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Have deactivated and re-activated all my plugins, still not working ;(
Also contacted the person i bought my theme from and she has responded saying “The Blog Post image is a featured image. It will not display in the single post page. This is a default WordPress functionality. If you want a particular image to display within the post content then you need to make sure you insert it to the post itself”
I have inserted the images in the individual posts….
Not sure how to fix this….
I can’t see any evidence of inserted images in either of your 2 posts. Given that there’s a smiley icon visible in your most recent posts (proving that images are being displayed), I think perhaps you are not inserting your images correctly.
I have inserted the images..wrote the post as normal, click on the icon for upload images, browsed and uploaded from my computer and the clicked insert into post.
The images are visible in my wp-uploads folder, not on the post itself…not sure why though. Have i missed something?
Did you remember to update the post once you had inserted the images?
Yes i did…updated the posts after inserting the images.I can see the featured image on the bottom left of the post.
I have another blog http://ikafali.wordpress.com/ and when i upload pictures normally i can see the picture in the post itself but with this theme i can’t.

The featured image will not be used in your single post page. If you can’t see any other images within the post content whilst editing the post, then you haven’t inserted any images yet.
Ok, i have inserted the image as usual but its not registering that. The image is not getting attached in some sort to the post even when i do go through the normal uploading sequence!
Am lost really, not sure what to try now. Could this be a theme related issue?
Can you see the image in the Media Library?

That’s your featured image. Have you also inserted this image into the post content area?
That’s the problem, when i insert the image it does not show within the post content area, its not getting attached.
