@speraino – Have you tried setting your WordPress Permalinks to something other than the “Default”? We often suggest “Post name” or “Month and name” as much better alternatives.
Thanks!
– Cais.
Hello – I set the permalinks to “Post name” and also tried “Month and name”, but the result is the same. No images found. I’ve added another small album to the page as a test, and it does work. But the album “Galapagos” continues to malfunction. I can’t find any differences between it and the others, though.

Any other suggestions? Thanks!
Okay also – when I open the album (the one that works – Ecuadorian Amazon, you can use the same link above), the “Start Slideshow” feature does not work, it just initiates a never-ending “loading”. And when I click on an individual image, the image is about five times larger than the screen and totally distorted. I’ve tried changing the Gallery Settings>NextGEN Basic Slideshow>Maximum Dimensions to w300 h200 (half of the default settings), but this produces no change.
Are there usually this many issues getting NextGEN to work? Am I doing something wrong here? Thank you for your help.
@speraino – There may be some sort of conflict on your site … have you tried deactivating *all* plugins, temporarily switching to a default WordPress Twenty series theme, then reactivating NextGEN Gallery only?
– Cais.
Hi Cais, Yes throughout this whole process NextGEN is the ONLY plugin that has been activated, and I’ve been running a default WordPress Twenty series theme.
I’ve just deactivated NextGEN as well, switched themes from Sallino to the Twenty Series, reactivated NextGEN, and there is no change.
@speraino – The Lightbox Effect (slideshow?) that appears to be in use also appears to be from your theme. Have you tried turning off the NextGEN Gallery Lightbox Effects under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects?
– Cais.
Hi Cais,
I turned off the Lightbox Effects, which does allow the photos to appear at a normal size when clicked individually. However, the “Start Slideshow” feature still does not work, just initiates an endless loading phase. One of the albums also continues to say it has no images, as well. Thanks!

@speraino – The more images you have in a gallery the slower the slideshow will take to load since it is loading all of the images before it starts to render them to the screen. The slideshow works fine on the Montana gallery.
As to the problem with the no images found, I would suggest you might look at recreating and re-adding that gallery to the site/album.
