Do the images re-appear if you switch off just “Speed up image load times” or “Enable Lazy Loading for images” at Jetpack > Settings > Performance in your site’s Dashboard?
Hello again,
Thank you for your response. Here’s the current situation.
Disabling “Speed up image load times” and “Enable Lazy Loading for images” allowed the blog to be updated. However we have another problem. The post looks updated on all sub-category pages while it is shown with the yesterday’s changes. (Very interesting, isn’t it:))
Please check the same post named ‘Luxury House Rental in Gocek’ from different categories:
https://www.gocekrentals.com/category/blog/
https://www.gocekrentals.com/category/blog/gocek-en/
We also neeed “Speed up image load times” and “Enable Lazy Loading for images” options on for a faster web site.
I’d be appreciated if you could look into that as a priorty.
Regards,
Pelin
Dear James,
One more thing. We have updated our .favicon recently. Some of our pages are showing the old favicon instead of the new one. Do you think these might be an error related to Jetpack? (CDN feature maybe) Please advise,
Best, Pelin
Favicon caching is up to the browser, they all refresh at various different times.
As for the images, are you using any sort of download or hotlink blocking for your images? If so, that would block our CDN from storing them.
Hello again,
We don’t use any sort of download or hotlink blocking. I disabled some plugins and it is solved.
I just want to know, when I update an image, would it automatically update the content in your CDN? Would there be any delays for any reason?
Also, I want to use asyn and defer for Javascript files. Can you recommend me a plugin compatible with Jetpack? Any plugin that would speed up my website and enhance my SEO would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Pelin

Once the image is viewed by a site visitor for the first time, it’s immediately sent to and cached by our CDN service, there’s no delay.
Also, I want to use asyn and defer for Javascript files. Can you recommend me a plugin compatible with Jetpack?
We don’t have any specific recommendations for that, but there are several plugins which offer this.
Just keep in mind that deferring can break any Javascript at any time, and that includes ours. It’s definitely a risk.
Ok James,
Many thanks for your help.
Best, Pelin
