Images not showing

Hi

I recently migrated from wordpress.com and although my media images didn’t transfer (as in they are not in my media library) they did show correctly on my posts until yesterday.

Now when I view a post, there is a little box with a cross and the name of the image. However, if I click on edit, the images appear but much larger than they should be!

I have manually added some photos to posts that were on wordpress.com but I have hundreds of posts and would rather not do that! Images are really important for me because I have a food blog, so if someone could offer any advice I would be really grateful!
