Hi Hallie,
Thanks for reaching out. It looks like some of your photos are a 1:1 ratio and others are taller. What are you settings set to in the “Custom Image Size Settings” of the plugin?
Hi Justin – thanks for your help. Yeah, I think the ratios vary, and are not one size across the board – is that an issue?
Right now it looks like the custom image size settings are set to:
width 300
height 300
do not crop
Let me know what’s the best way to move forward to have them all appear the same size (even if that means I need to edit all the photos and create a new best practice moving forward)
Thanks,
Hallie
Hi Hallie,
You can try switching to “crop” setting, but it’s really best to have all the photos uploaded at the same ratio from the start for the best control.
There is a PSD template for a 300×300 image on the documentation page – https://shoppagewp.com/documentation/. This is what I place my images on and save them out.
Thanks Justin – I turned on crop and that helped it look more professional. Some photos now seem very “zoomed in”. I assume for those specific ones, best to re-upload and size 300×300?
Thanks again for your help.
Hi Hallie,
Yeah, that’s what I would do. It will give you the control to keep them all consistent.
Cheers,
Justin
